What happens next?
First, we clarify the role. We discuss your needs, expectations, schedule, budget and applicable service fees.
Next, the search begins. Once you’re ready to proceed and the search fee is paid, I consider caregivers whose
experience, availability and preferences may fit your role.
Then, you meet and share feedback. You choose whom you’d like to speak with and keep me posted after
conversations so I can help with questions and next steps.
When both sides want to move forward, we confirm the schedule, rate, responsibilities and start date, and
coordinate any agreed reference or background checks. The placement balance is due once the caregiver
accepts your offer and must be paid in full before care begins.
How do fees work?
There is a $79 nonrefundable search fee, credited toward your applicable placement fee. I’ll explain the total for
your search before we begin. The search fee is nonrefundable if you pause your search or hire independently.
Once a caregiver accepts your offer, the placement balance is due and must be paid in full before care begins.
Caregiver wages are separate and paid directly by your family.
Can you arrange a background check?
Yes. Background checks are available for an additional fee. I can share options and pricing, including a driving record check when relevant. A caregiver introduction does not mean a background check has already been completed.
Can you help with a smaller schedule?
Yes. Some schedules are harder to fill, especially during popular school pickup hours. I’ll be honest about the options and any flexibility that might help.
What if a placement ends early?
For eligible placements, one complimentary replacement search is available if a caregiver withdraws before starting or leaves within the first 21 days for reasons beyond the family’s control. The position must remain the same or similar. The replacement search remains open for 30 days.
